Facebook Messenger Is Now The New Destination For E-Consultation With Doctors

In today’s tech-savvy world, e-consultation with doctors is gaining prominence as it’s becoming increasingly difficult for people to wait for long hours to personally meet health experts. And now, Lybrate has become the first Indian company to leverage Facebook Messenger’s bot platform to allow the users to seek opinion on health-related queries from more than 1 lakh doctors in real-time.

Saurabh Arora, founder and CEO, Lybrate, said, “Our first-of-its kind and unique Health Feed is making people become thoughtful about their health even when they are fit.”

In order to make the platform more engaging and spread awareness about health issues, Lybrate has also integrated its Health Quiz in Facebook Messenger bot. The company believes that this attempt will help encourage users to become aware about multiple health issues that people normally ignore.

With this move, the Facebook Messenger users will also gain access to authenticated medical content that is shared by healthcare experts from more than 50 specialties from across India.

Apart from this, Lybrate has come out with its ‘Health Feed,’ which is similar to Facebook’s ‘News Feed,’ consists of answers to health queries and health tips by doctors. It pushes the preventive side of medicine.

Lybrate keeps identity of the users anonymous to help them even seek opinion on health subjects they are not comfortable with. This service on Messenger can be accessed by visiting http://m.me/lybrate.
